The organizers of BLAST Premier have postponed the Fall Showdown to November 25-29 to avoid a clash with the ESL One Rio Major.
BLAST Premier has moved up the second stage of its Fall Series one week later in the schedule after ESL announced the postponement of the ESL One Rio Major due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the new timetable, the Brazilian event's New Champions Stage will be held on November 19-22, which clashed with the Showdown's original dates on November 17-22.
More information about this year's BLAST Premier circuit is expected to follow later this week.
While organizers of many of the upcoming LAN tournaments have commented on their plans in response to the global situation, BLAST Premier have still yet to make a statement about the status of the Spring Showdown and Finals, which are currently scheduled for June 2-7 and 16-21, respectively.
